North Dakota Dropout Prevention Summit

The North Dakota Dropout Prevention Summit was held in Bismarck on June 8-9, 2009.  This summit was a cooperative effort between the North Dakota Education Association, North Dakota Department of Public Instruction, North Dakota Chamber of Commerce, North Dakota Council of Education Leaders, North Dakota School Boards Association, and the Office of North Dakota Governor John Hoeven. Dropout prevention teams from across the state gathered for two days to discuss strategies to lower the dropout rate in North Dakota. The summit was was funded by a grant from the America’s Promise Alliance.  The video production was funded by the National Education Association.
